Wild Wellness Sauna, a picturesque sauna located on the shores of Garrettstown beach, just a short drive from Kinsale,  began accidentally in 2021. Bronwyn bought a sauna to relieve arthritic pain. Not quite thinking it through, Bronwyn quickly realized that she had no permanent base for her sauna and was advised to mount it on a trailer and make it mobile.

One rainy Sunday in September she brought it to Garrettstown Beach and began offering beachgoers & sea swimmers the use of the sauna over the winter months. The sauna and its benefits were quickly welcomed to the beach.

Over the last 2 years Wild Wellness has grown and in Nov 2022, Bronwyn launched “The Beast” a large traditional Finnish Sauna that was designed and built in West Cork.

Bronwyn founded Wild Wellness in Sept 2021 rather accidentally. Having purchased the sauna for her own use, it has now grown into a fantastic beachside business. Having grown up in the area Bronwyn is delighted to be part of the ever-growing beach business community.

No sauna compares to the big beautiful beast perfectly cosy with the best view of the sea and with great access to the sea when it gets hot! The staff are always so friendly and kind.

Incredible! Amazing value for money, 2 amazing owners who care so much for their clients well being. The hosts are warm and welcoming and really put you at ease, as does every staff member. It's my gift to myself nearly every Sunday and I feel so rejuvenated, calm and peaceful afterwards. Highly highly recommend. Your body and soul will thank you ❤️
It's 3 years later and I'm still addicted to this sauna, I've tried at least another 13 in Cork but nothing will ever beat Wild wellness for me!

We had the most amazing experience at Wild Wellness Sauna. Bromwyn is so lovely and so attentive to make sure that we had the best experience possible! The views from the sauna are fantastic and the location, just right beside the sea is great for being able to break up the sauna with a swim. We will definitely be back we loved our time here!

I cannot recommend Wilder Cork enough. The sense of relaxation, peace and calm is wonderful. The sauna is spotless and Bronwyn is such a great host always in good humour and very helpful. Cannot wait to be going back.

Fantastic family experience. All was booked through Bronwyn who was great. The sauna is in a fantastic location, super clean and super hot with a great window to see the sea view and all that’s going on, weather, surfers, swimmers, bird life, etc. We had a shared the sauna which was fun, max 10 people so plenty of space. I don't write reviews but this sauna warrants mentioning. If you live in the vicinity go try it. Just go. It has become part of my weekly routine. I train hard, after trying this once and feeling it's benefits I've come to view it as important as my diet or my rest/recovery. I always wanted to get into the cold water thing but to be honest I never had the heart. The sauna was a gateway to the water for me, it took the hardship out of getting into the sea. The two together have been a game changer for me, as affecting as a healthy diet. I live in the area so it's on my doorstep, as is the sea but until using the sauna I never saw it as an option. The fact that's it run by a local girl with the stones on her to start something in the midst of a pandemic and my going supports her is an added feel good factor. Bonnie runs the sauna like a cafe, nothing is too much trouble and it's "come in and relax" as soon as you get there. This business is an asset for the locality. It's continuation benefits me directly. Hence the review.

I love coming to the wild wellness sauna, I feel I leave my stress and troubles when I hang up my towel, and feel embraced by the warmth of the sauna looking out at the wild sea. Bronwyn and the team are always warm and happy and ready to assist if needed.
A dash to the sea and back to the warmth, what a beautiful and natural way to spend the weekend.. and your body feels good and refreshed after. I would definitely recommend everyone to try this, along with an açai bowl from the coffee van next door, yum 😋 🤩💕✨

An amazing set up with an incredible view! My girlfriend and I delayed our trip to make sure we got a chance to get in. The owner was extremely accommodating and had a wonderful energy that added to the whole experience. Highly recommend a back and forth between the cold plunge in the ocean and the hot sauna. This really made our holiday in the area truly special!

What an amazing experience. Went down after work on Friday evening and to say I was relaxed leaving is an understatement. The whole experience was just fabulous. I cannot wait to do it again. Xx
